Random Thursday: Books Everyone Should Read...

Holy hell guys, it's December...whoa. Time really does fly when you're having fun, or in my case, being bombarded with a zillion things to do at work so you have zero time to blog.

Lucky for you guys my MIL has taken over my living room (aka: her current living space) so I have no choice but to sit in my bedroom & write this post. Seriously, it's not that I don't want to blog right now but Sons of Anarchy is on my DVR! *whining*

Moving on...

I'm probably going to get shunned by my hommies Em & Kat for admitting this, but I haven't read a book in a little over 8 months. *ducks for cover*

I know, it's a total shame. Between my long work hours, my attention whore of a dog and TV, there's just NO time for the wonderful land of books. Maybe once things die down a bit at work - bahaha, as if!

Regardless of my recent lack of book love there are books I hope people should at least read once.

You're up. Share some of your favorite books with us...who knows, your book recommendation may be the first one I pick up to start my reading up again.

  1. It really is a shame! Just kidding! I totally understand! I wish I had more time for books too! I think I have read Brave New World 5 times, it really is great. Hope you can watch Sons of Anarchy soon!

  2. You know what? I actually totally understand. There have been long stretches when I either couldn't (medicated) or didn't read any books. Particularly after I finished University - I was just so burned out, and reading had become something I associated with hard, slogging work than fun. It took a couple of years of re-reading books I knew I loved and even then, sporadically, before I really got back into reading again. And with how much you've got on your plate, it's a miracle you even have time for sleep! Anyway, you may or may not be receiving a little something in the mail to help you get back on track! ;) Also I still haven't read most of these. Now who's embarrassed? *hangs head*

  3. I am virtually throwing a book at you! I get busy too, but I think you spend some time with a book this winter. :)

  4. Yay for The Hunger Games! I need to sit my ass down and read Fight Club, my husband is obsessed (obsessed, I tell you!) with the book and the movie, so I should probably read it and see what the noise is about.
