Taking In The Homeless

Its been a while, hasn't it? I almost forgot what this lil old place looked like.

Things have been hella busy though, even bussier than it was when I started the new job...hard yo believe, I know.

Seems there's something about watching an animal show called "Too Cute" that can get you to crazily believe you need a pet in your life. So guess what I did a lil more than a week ago? No, I didnt do the smart thing & turn off the tv. Quiet the opposite...

Meet GiGi, our 2 year old Terrier with one blue eye & one brown eye.

She stinky.  Takes up ALL my precious time. Likes to hog my husband's attention.  But (now) I wouldn't give her up for anything in the world (took a few days for me to get over the "holy fuck, I think I made a mistake!"). We found her on Craigslist, her family was moving out of state the next day and couldn't take her with them.  Seemed like fate.

Damn that fur ball for melting my cold heart. Lil shit might actually weasel her way into being allowed on the couch.  Someday.

  1. I adopted a dog a few weeks ago too! I know that feeling, too. It definitely took close to a week for me to feel or think anything other than "holy shit what did I do!?"

  2. Aw......good for you for rescuing her! It's always so sad when a dog goes to the shelter because someone is moving away. She sure is adorable. :)

  7. Go Linny! Adopting that beautiful pup up there is going to be one of the best decisions you have ever made! I can't wait to see update posts on how she's adapting with her new family.
