Ten On Tuesday

1. Have you guys seen Devious Maids? I'm hooked.

2. Speaking of shows...Dexter has been such a big fucking let down this season; Deb's such a pain in the ass. And True Blood, haven't even had the urge to watch it. Blah.

3. I miss twitter & blogging. The endless hours of spewing out randomness seems to be gone. The person that started this blog comes back in spurts and I get mere glimpses of her...this makes my heart sad.

4. It's a sad sad (pathetic) cycle.

5. I feel like I've changed. The cynic in me has been pushed aside by the chipper-happy with her job-likes to craft. Honestly, I dont even recognize myself anymore.

6. Change...ugh...every day it happens more & more. I once heard that you turn into your mom at the age of 30. Guess what? I'm 30 and its happening. Holy fuck, jeebus save Rusty.

7. Want to make a dude happy? Just touch his weenis. And no, not the one located on his elbow.

8. My nails were all girly and long yesterday, today they're short & tomboyish. And it's all because of one stupid ass chipped nail corner. Grr.

9. Sneezes are like teeny orgasms...they both leave you with funky ass facial expressions.

10. Fact: working in an office full of men is SO much easier and better than working with women. No gossip, no pretending to laugh at their cheesy jokes, no more prying into my personal life...this is the life people.

  2. 4. Yep, I have this feeling a lot, except with candy.

    5. People evolve. I've done it a few times myself and it's always surprising.

    6. HAHA! That is the truth. And, moms just laugh at us.

    10. So you like your new job? For some reason, I didn't even realize that you were getting a new position. Glad to hear it's going well.

  3. Luckily I am still seasons away from your disappointed TV experiences - I guess until they hit Germany, you all will have moved on to another show, ha ha!
Oh, and while I agree that working with men might look easier at the beginning, it is sometimes really hard to follow their weird conversation in which complete sentences are replaced with grunts and shrugs ;-)

  4. Devious Maids sounds awesome. I have to check out this show!
Sometimes also I wonder where my cynic me is...I don't know what happened.

  5. I love, love, love Devious Maids! Dexter is eh. Kinda ready for it to be over, since it sucks so bad.

  6. Now you make me want ice cream and now I'm sad. I work in a place full of men. It's nicer and no nonsense.

  7. 1. I can't see her as anyone but Carla from Scrubs.
    4. I had to MAKE myself stop eating Blue Bell's Dutch Chocolate. Le sigh.
    5 That's a good thing! Right...?
    6. No. Just no.
    8. Know EXACTLY what you mean. One chip and all ten fingers are ruined.
    9. Fact.
    10. NICE.

  8. I'm so glad you love your new job!! I've worked in a tiny office of women before and I hated it so much.

  9. Lately, I've found myself acting like a cleanliness control freak. When I was cloroxing the kitchen last night (yes), I realized I had turned into my mother. Where is the messy girl who lived by herself in Alaska and did dishes once a week??? I have no idea.

Dexter was okay on Sunday. Better than the last 2 weeks. TB is better than Dexter this season, but that's not saying much. I just love the cast of that show too much. They'd really have to eff it up for me to stop watching.
