Lazy Weekend

This was me. All weekend.

I'd say I regretted it but that's not true. I totally don't. My couch was my throne this weekend and my laptop & television were my jesters. It was great. Only thing I lacked was a servant wench who'd bring me food so I didn't have to get up.

Guess it's good I didn't have one though or my ass would have most likely fused together with the couch like that lady and her toilet a few years ago.

Ick, just thinking of that story gave me the heebie jeebies.

So yeah, this weekend was full of awesome laziness and watching re-runs of old movies. Did you know that if you watch Desperado more than 4x in a day you actually start to become really attracted to Antonio Banderas' greasy hobo look?

It was around that time I decided it was time to tune into something a little sexier, like Shaun of the Dead.

Needless to say, I'm now really attracted to English men with like less than 10% muscle mass.

linking up w/sami for weekend shenanigans

  1. Those weekends are needed sometimes, unfortunately having a kid they come along so rare:)

  2. Sounds like a pretty awesome weekend to me. I looove Shaun of the Dead. The guys are the best!

  3. I love those weekend!
my debate is love seat sitting up a little, or full couch laid right out.
    sometimes it's hard to choose!

  4. I LOVE lazy weekends! I refuse to set my alarm on weekends, even though my toddler enjoys scaring the crap out of me by staring at me, 2 inches in front of my face, until I wake up.

    "Hi Mom. Juice please."

  5. I was lazy too this weekend. I didn't even leave the house. I sat around and read magazine while watching Safe Haven, Life As We Know It, What's Your Number and Bride Wars. Oh and Pitch Perfect (I'll never tire of this movie) and re-runs of Sex and the City.

Sometimes we just need to have those lazy weekends but I did get off my butt to sew a shirt and bake some squares. Have a great week!

  6. How the hell does your skin fuse to a toilet? Seriously, seriously creepy.

  7. No fair, I crushed on Simon first.

But seriously, lazy movie days are the best. Ever.

I love comments!
