Random Thursday: All Things Christmas...

It's that time again, the awesome time where Em, Sarah and I give you a fun topic to write about and you rant on & on about it. You love it (I hope)...and so do we!

This weeks topic:

Can I just say it's unbelievable that Christmas is only a few days away. Fucking crazy.

I dont know about you guys but my family does the big Christmas celebration/dinner on Christmas Eve. Dont ask me why, it's just always been that way. So this year it'll be exactly like the years before; We're all getting dressed up (aka: anything but yoga pants), joining more than 35 family members at my grandparents tiny house &  having dinner together, exchanging gifts & annoying the fuck out of each other. Fun times I tell ya.

On Christmas Day (probably sometime after midnight), Rusty & I will open our gifts at home, pass out and not wake up til after noon. Not gonna lie, this will probably be a no-shower day loaded with tons of leftover grubbing.

I'm definitely making these for Rusty:
recipe can be found here

This is as close to what I'll be wearing as I could find:
Christmas outfits

This is our (real) tree:

Movies that will definitely be watched A LOT over the next few days:

Ready to join us? If you're cool you will. Seriously, you can write about everything & anything having to do with Christmas; your plans, pins, videos...whatever.

Next weeks topic: New Year's Plans & Hopes...

  1. Honestly, I don't think I've ever gotten a shower on Christmas day. And cute outfits!

  2. Your Christmas sounds about perfect! Ours will be a lot more stressed out, with family dinner on Christmas Eve, family lunch on Christmas Day and family dinner on Christmas Day. Yeah, you read that correctly. Three different parts of the family want to feed us. We will have to resort to elastic pants on the 26th ;-)

Home Alone is cool, but I recommend adding Love Actually to your annual Christmas watch-list! =)

  3. Is it weird that I think I had a food orgasm when I saw those cookies? Because I did and it was fucking amazing.

    Also, Home Alone = awesomesauce.

  4. Oh nom. I'm baking today and I'm going to make some minty cookies!!

I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award :) http://quickcheapandpretty.blogspot.com/2012/12/ive-been-awarded-versatile-blogger-award.html

  5. In Germany we always celebrate Christmas on December 24...Christmas dinner, presents, everything. It was weird for me to celebrate it December 25. :)

  6. I still haven't accepted that Christmas is coming. So I refused to read this post because duh it's way premature :P

    Love you!

I love comments!
