It's Over, Let's Move On...

You may recognize the above quote as the last part of the Presidents re-election speech from last night. If you don't, I'll just assume it's because you went to sleep right after finding out who won, like I did. Getting up at 4am ain't easy guys.

Don't worry, this post is not to throw his re-election in anyone's face or to claim that Romney should have been the victor in all of this. Nope. It's me just venting about how people need to grow up & learn to move forward.

Honestly I'm just glad all this political bullshit is over for now.

Last night I saw some major smack talk on twitter. It was such a bummer to read all that hate. No one's ever 100% happy with the outcome of this things but is it really necessary to say such hateful things about the people who voted for the 'other guy'? Fuck no. It's childish and really shows your true hateful colors. The fact is the American people voted & the most popular dude won. Move on & hope for the best.

We're not meant to all think the same way or like the same people, we're not fucking robots, but we should at least have the ability to come together in times as tough as these and support one another despite all our ridiculous differences.

Which brings me to my next point: If you're that upset by the choice your fellow American's have made then do us all a favor & move the fuck out of the country. We don't need your dumb-small-minded-stubborn ass taking up valuable space & oxygen.

  1. Couldn't have said it better myself!

  2. Couldnt agree more. I was very surprised by all the hate I saw on my fb feed. :(

  3. I was really shocked because of all the hate! I never expected anything like that!

  4. Bah. Isn't it awful. I have completely avoided Facebook today because I'm disgusted at my friends on both party sides. No wonder America is in the shitter when we as people act like this. Shame.

I love comments!
