Random Thursday: Fun Summer Reads

Welcome to the 7th Random Thursday

I want to thank all you fabulous gals that joined EmSarah, and I last week. You guys rock! Hopefully you'll all stick around for future topics cause believe me, we have some really fun one's coming up.

This weeks topic is:

Just realized how freakin' bright that button is...wowza. Good thing it's a summer topic.

I have to admit I haven't been much for reading this summer. I blame the fucking heat. Yes, it's too hot to read. The bits & pieces that I have read have come from the internet. Thank you internet, you're always there for me :)

365 days of Slow Cooking: It's exactly what it says it is & it's fan-freakin-tastic! As someone who works 10 hrs a day & commutes 3.5 hrs a day, this is a sanity & time saver.

Tip Junkie: She is what she claims & she's fantastic at it. Doesn't matter what you're looking for, she has tips & ways to create it and more. My favorite time of year to visit her blog is Christmas time because she has the best DIY gift ideas, which lucky for me are pretty DIY dummy proof.

Cosmopolitan:  What can I say, old habits are hard to break.I don't always agree with the advice they give the ladies but it's still pretty entertaining.

The Walking Dead (graphic novels): If you love the show, you'll definitely get a kick out of these comics. They go into SO much more detail than the show & in case you're worried you'll know how it's all going to end, the show is a bit different than the comics so need to worry.

Tag, you're it! We want to know what you've been reading this summer or what you'd recommend. And, don't forget to sign up for our newsletter below, so you can always know what our next topic is.

  8. I tried to read Walden this summer, but my iPod was thrown in the pool in Italy and then I realized....I was in Italy and should be trying to snag some hottie Italian guys instead of reading by the pool

  10. I just gave in and bought the September Vogue.... and now I'm not really sure how I'm going to carry it home. Got J. The Walking Dead for his Bday, but he hasn't read it yet. Regretting getting the huge-ass book with a bunch of them in one, cos that thing is heavier than... well, than the Vogue. Incredibly difficult and awkward to read. Word to the wise!
