Random Thursday: Favorite Beauty Products

Welcome to the 5th Random Thursday with NatalieKailyn, and I.
It's so fantastic that so many of you awesome peeps have decided to join us on a weekly basis for this super fun link-up.

This weeks topic is pretty rad & will hopefully give you gals some new products to try out:

I'm definitely not one of those women that wears tons of make up or has a strict beauty regime. I suppose I'm beginning to get a little more into keeping my skin clean & moisturized because I'll be 30 in a few months and those damn wrinkles are only bound to get bigger :/

Here's what I use...

Olay Complete Moisturizer w/SPF 15
My skin can be kind of an asshole sometimes, being oily one day & dry another, so this is the only moisturizer that works regardless of what it decides to be. The best part is that it doesn't cost me an arm & a leg so I don't feel bad using it all the time.

Olay Clean & Mild Cloths
These things are amazing! I used to use a different brand but Rusty made me try these when I ran out of my old ones and I'm never going back. I use them to remove my makeup at night when I'm too lazy to wash my face or in the middle of day when I feel my face needs to a bit of freshening up.

e.l.f. Eyeshadow Primer
I'd never used a primer until a swap buddy sent this to me a while back and now I'll never go without it. Say 'sayonara' to oily eyelids & creased eyeshadow with this beauty. Also, it's only $1 at Target...woot!

Soothing Eye Gel
Sadly it's always puffy eye central up in here. This soothing eye gel was first given to me as sample by the MIL like 4 years ago. No lie, it works so great I still carry around an emergency sample tube with me everywhere I go. Bonus: it feels amazing on a sunburned face.

My other faves that are pretty much bought based on what's on SALE:
Lip gloss in light pink/clear, twist pencil eyeliner, liquid eyeliner (only in this form), pressed powder (always Covergirl), black mascara, and eyelash curler because I have stupid super straight eyelashes.

  7. I've just starting experimenting with E.L.F. products and I feel they're kinda hit (blush & blotting papers) and miss (mascara). I've tried a couple of eyeshadow primers in the past with mixed results, and I can't bring myself to spend $20 on a 'good' one - for a buck I gotta give this a try!

  9. When Oil of Olay got expensive, I went to the Equate brand. Half the price. Same results. And I have really sensitive skin too. That's why I can't use Cover Girl foundation or powder. Makes me break out.
Like you, I don't put a whole lot into products. I'd rather buy clothes or purses!
