I had never heard of Beth Hart up until I was recently given the opportunity to listen to her new EP album, "Introducing".
Her vocals are strong and rugged, reminding me a lot of the iconic Janis Joplin. Each track stands on it's own, is impressive, emotional, and makes you want to sing along from the get go.
Beth sings from the depth of her soul, and her voice tells you stories and paints pictures that come from her life and experience. Beth states that "at times, I've been really down in my life, but you know, once you deal with it and make sense out of it, it gives you tremendous power'. Beth's songs emotionally resonate and create a shared experience with her audience.
Beth has had tremendous success in the UK and Europe. Her singles "LA Song (Out Of This Town)", "Leave The Light On", "Take It Easy On Me", "Sister Heroine"; which was written for her sister who passed away, "I'll Take Care Of You and "Your Heart Is As Black As Night" (both with Joe Bonamassa) and of course "Good As It Gets" have all had major success.
It is time to reintroduce Beth Hart in the US, following the success of Beth Hart-Joe Bonamassa, entitled, "Don't Explain", with this new EP album, "Introducing".
Beth will also be releasing her new full album, "Bang Bang Boom Boom", sometime in late 2012/early 2013.
