Ten On Tuesday

FYI: This is a semi-NSFW post

1. Turns out I'm leaving to Vegas for the Bachelorette weekend on Thursday night instead of Friday. I know this should be something I'm looking forward to but all I can think about is how much I'm going to miss Rusty. Damn that guy for making me so fond of him.

2. I totally used to pick up guys like this.

3. Fact: being married has ruined my young, fun, fashionable wardrobe. No lie, I have zero going out clothes. My closet is filled with worn-out jeans & dresses no shorter than 2-inches above the knee. I'm old.

4. It's pretty hard to believe 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' did so badly at the box office. Rusty says the book is pretty bad ass, guess we'll have to see it & see what went wrong.

*We're actually going tonight so I'll let you all know how it was.

5. Dear ladies with big booties: just because your skirt looks like it's the right length in the front doesn't mean it actually is. Do the world a favor, turn around & check your backside before walking out of the house cause that skirt has a way of rising...a lot.

6. Haha, it's so sad when you don't know you're one of the ugly one's.

7. What the hell? Does no one do magazine covers without photo-shopping themselves beyond recognition anymore? This is just straight up ridiculous, Jenny McCarthy.

8. As 'meh' as I have been about True Blood recently I do have to give them credit for making Sunday's episode pretty interesting. My favorite? The Pam & Eric scenes. *swoon*

9. The beach has to be one of my all time favorite places to spend time, when it's not hot as hell outside, of course. I miss living 25mins from it. Stupid high priced O.C. housing :(

10. I am so fucking excited about this movie. It's either going to be really good or really really awful...we'll see.

  1. Oh, I want to see Ted too! I really hope it's good. :)
Ah, True Blood. Love it. Especially the Eric and Pam scenes. :) Sookie is going on my nerves though.
You always make me laugh so much, Lin. #5 and 6 are hilarious!
    Have a great day!

  2. Eric's makes everything right.
maybe some of the problem with Abe is I've never heard of it! Not one peep! movie or book.

And I may like Ted but if his voice is Seth Grogenorwhater, I'll totally hate. Period.

  3. The Pam & Eric backstory has been awesome! Honestly, it has ALWAYS taken me at least 4 episodes every season to really start to get into it.

I'm with you on the Photoshop thing. I really wish these magazines would stop Photoshopping the crap out of their photos and show people for who they really are, facial expressions included.

  4. I have to see Ted too. It looks so ridiculous. And I'm not sure if it's in a good way or a bad way. So just NEED to see it and find out for myself.

  5. My favorite was when Sookie was all "Tara, what are you doing in the freezer??". That was the best episode so far this season. Tara is really getting on my nerves. Poor Pam is stuck with her now.
I'm reading the Abe Lincoln book. It's really good, so I'm gonna hopefully make it to the theater this weekend (the theater is 2 miles away, which is a testament to my laziness).

  6. I want to see Ted so bad!

  7. Agreed with all of these...except I'm not going to Vegas and I've never seen True Blood.

  8. It'd be great if we could see what these women REALLY looked like because nobody photshopped ANYTHING anymore. Weird world we live in when fakeness counts for more than reality.

I'd like to see 'Ted'. There's a new theater near us called the Cineapolis where the seats are supposed to be awesomely comfortable...

  9. I want to see Abraham Lincoln and Ted. I hope Ted does well.

I have no going out clothes too. Marriage does that to you. I hope you have an awesome time in Vegas! I'm so jealous.

  10. I'm so sad they ruined the book with yet another stupid movie. The book was fantastic. Poor Honest Abe.

  11. I'm interested in reading your review of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Aaron read the book & said it was awesome, but then saw the reviews of the movie & was discouraged.
