Too Much...

I've been home since Thursday & I don't have to go back to work until Tuesday. This is something I was VERY fucking excited about...last week. Today, the rooms seems smaller and the walls are coming in to crush the life out of me. When I tell people I could never be a stay at home wife/mom I mean it. I do. These last couple of days have been full of too much (not always) good stuff -->
  • Shoveled way too much food into my bottomless gullet.
  • Went to too many stores.
  • Spent way too much money.
  • Watched too much TV...no lie, the circles under my eyes look like I got into a brawl on black friday. Woof!
  • Overslept too much.
  • Made too much a mess in my bedroom. There's clothes everywhere, it's like it was ransacked.
  • And finally, spent way too much money. Oh, I said that already? Well it totally deserves to be said again because I did. I spent way. too. much.
I can't believe I'm saying this shit but I'm ready to go back to work. And just so you guys know, I'll probably be eating those words after a day or two so there's no need to throw it in my face later.

What did ya'll do too much of this week weekend?

  2. I didn't know what to do with myself because I had 4.5 days off. I also ate way too much food. I did manage to stay within my shopping budget, but I want to shop some more so bad.

  4. I watched too much Netflix. Parks and Rec instant streaming. Dur... I watched like 20 episodes. I started on number 7. I am in the 30s now.

  5. Oh man Lin, I can relate. 5 days home with the kids caused some pretty nasty summer vacation flashbacks. Only it's cold now. I watched freaking Parenthood on Netflix, from episode 5, now I'm on 25. Still trying to like it. Oh yeah, plus I ate pretty much whatever wasn't nailed down or still had a pulse.

  6. I TOTALLY feel you. I have had a couple of extended periods of unemployment where I had no routine and I was so bored and depressed. I even lost the will to bitch - and that's really saying something. I was overjoyed to return to work each time. For about two days.

Don't be too hard on yourself - we all do it! I hope at least some of that was fun at the time and that you bought a treat for yourself, too! :)
