Fill In The Blank Friday

It's (almost) Friday & I'm so ready for the weekend...but when am I not, right? I just got home from dinner with a fellow blogger, Laura & I had a great time. Way better than I anticipated cause she was actually cooler than I thought & she digs murder mystery books.

So since it's (almost) Friday, it of course means it's time for -->

  1. Somewhere someone is eating breakfast as I'm getting ready for bed. I know it's not a big deal, it's just time change but that really blows my mind. Yeah, I'm 8 years old sometimes.
  2. Random strangers is/are my muse.
  3. It would suck if books was no more because, I'm quiet fond of them. I'm actually fighting the urge to buy a Nook because I'm afraid I'll be enabling the end of books. Extreme I know, but it is what it is.
  4. Meeting a new blog friend & having a kick ass understanding husband that doesn't bitch when I go out without him is/are my favorite thing about today.
  5. Life is kind of like fruit. Sometimes it's sweet & sometimes it's sour.
  6. If I could have anything I wanted I would want to pay off all of our credit cards. They're a pain in the ass & the interest rates are killing me. Why oh why must I be such a spender?
  7. A funny thing that happened the other day... Yeah, I got nothin'. I'm so lame but the only thing I can think of is that I almost wore flip flops to work a couple of days ago. I was walking out of my bedroom thinking "I'm so ready for today" ha-ha...yeah, I so wasn't cause I didn't even have shoes on. Scatterbrain, that's what I am.

Join in on the fun by copying the blanks, answering them on your blog & then link up at The Little Things We Do so others can check you out!

  1. i totally know what you mean about the end of books...i am fighting ebooks till the bitter end!

  2. I'm happy you had a great time meeting up with a blog friend:) Have a nice weekend!

  3. Haha I eat breakfast around 9am my time....which is 1am your time. so you might be going to bed!
Also...thats why I wont by one of those kindles either!! my mom keeps on bugging me to get one to share books with my sister but I just keep thinking noooo- I want real books to keep on being books! And also- I would love to be debt free as well...I have a huge student loan hanging over my head....its just getting bigger and bigger every year. le sigh.

  4. Now I am so pleased because I though we had a great time too, but then at the end you said 'ALLRIGHTY" or something like that, and zipped off in your car without saying anything like 'we should do this again. How about a hot dog though instead of the whole foo-faw?' so I thought you HADN'T had a good time.

So now that I know you had a good time, maybe we can get a hot dog or hamburger somewhere next time:)

  5. Thanks for stopping by my blog!! I think your flip flop story is hilarious!

  6. Books are my favorite, too. The smell of books alone keeps me from going electronic.

It seems like you and I have a lot in common, from the few snippets I've read so far. :)

  7. #1 is me...I'm like 8 hours ahead. Makes it tough to talk to friends/family.

I love comments!
