Love Is Around: Valentine's Day

Since I dont have any Valentine's Day plans or gifts to write about I figured this little survey thing would be a fun post. To be honest it was this or a video I've been wanting to post but I think the video, which features a woman doing something that made me throw up a little bit in my mouth, would be best suited for another day.

  1. What is your favorite romantic comedy?
I have a lots but these are my go to romantic comedies. (Breakfast at Tiffany's, Forgetting Sarah Mashall, Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, 50 First Dates & Valentine's Day)

  1. What are your favorite flowers?

    Gerber Daisies (photo via)

  2. What is your favorite Valentine's Day treat to eat?
Chocolate. Doesn't really matter what kind cause I'll eat just about any chocolate but if I had to choose one in particular it would be from See's Candies.

  3. Describe your best Valentine's Day.
Considering Rusty & I dont ever do anything on Valentine's Day I'd have to say it was the very first one we ever spent together. We were in lame-a*s Fresno for a wedding & had nothing to do the day after (Valentine's day) so we decided to see a movie at the cities teeny tiny movie theater. We watched 50 First Dates & it was one of the best days ever even though we hated being there at the time.

  4. What has been the most romantic night of your life?
Probably our wedding night. We went with a low key Las Vegas wedding & spent the night with 45-50 of our closest family & friends. I remember thinking I was the luckiest girl in the world while sitting next to him, staring down at my new wedding ring. It was us against the world from that moment on & I loved it.

  5. What's your go to date night outfit?
Ha-ha...our date nights usually happen while we're laying in bed in our pj's wondering why we're in bed so by the time we figure out where we're going or what we're going to do I'm not in any mood to get all dolled up. So this is what Rusty gets for date night:

  7. Where is your favorite place to go on a date?
The movies & a low priced sit down restaraunt. We usually hit up Applebee's, Red Lobster or Olive Garden or if we're in the mood for breakfast we'll head to IHOP. Recently we've discovered this new place about 25 minutes from home, Roadhouse Grill, that we really like so that might be a new addition to the go to dinner places list.

  8. Store bought Valentine's or homemade?
    Doesnt matter to me.

  9. What is your favorite love song?
Hm...I dont know. Maybe Etta James' "At Last". That song always makes me go all sissyfied & has be crying within a few seconds. Yeah, I can't always be hardcore, I guess.

  10. If you had to pick a date for Valentine's who would it be?
Rusty, of course. However, hypothetically, if I were single well it would probably be a toss up between Ryan Reynolds, Eric Dane, & Seth Rogen (I like them funny).

If you want to play along all you have to do is answer the questions on your blog & then link up here so others can check out your answers. Hope you have a great Valentines Day, regardless of how you spend it!
