Fill In The Blank Friday

Wow..I havent done one of these in a while. Most of the time I dont check my dashboard until mid day & by then it just sort of seems futile cause it's so late. Ok...I'm just lazy.

Anyway, I'm most likely going to be shopping the day away while you all read this. Yes, I have put off Christmas shopping until 7 days before Christmas, I'm a total procrastinator. Pray that I dont empty our bank account within the first 30 minutes.

1. Giving is good for the soul. I take a lot of pleasure (not in the pervy way either) in giving people gifts. I think that may be why I like hosting so many giveaways...free stuff, woot!

2. Receiving is sometimes way better than giving. I'm not gonna lie, I love getting gifts! That's probably why Christmas has always been my favorite holiday...gifts galore.

3. The best gift I ever received was my husband moving 500 miles away from home to be with me. I know, totally sappy, but it's true. He took a ginormous risk in moving away from everything he knew to live with a girl he'd only known for 6 months. Pfft...I'm really glad it worked out.

4. The best gift I ever gave was ...I've just come to the conclusion that I suck at cool gift giving cause I cant think of one damn thing. I usually stick to gift cards, things I can quickly get at a store & electronics, nothing cool & from the heart. This totally makes me a little sad. I need to work on this asap!

5. Something intangible I wish I could receive is the ability to be crafty. I swear I was born without a single crafty cell.

6. Something intangible I wish I could give is confidence. Much like Lauren I wish I could somehow give people the feeling of being great...at anything. A lot of us know we're great at something but lack the confidence to flaunt it. So if you got it, flaunt it ladies! lol

7. The one gift I always wanted as a child, but never got was a Polly Pocket. I loved the fact that you could carry them around with you & were tiny enough that I could maybe sneak it into class & play with it without the teacher knowing. I never found out though cause my mom was always afraid I'd somehow get it in my head that the tiny doll(s) was edible & I'd choke on the tiny parts, lol. Yes, she would have kept me in a bubble if she could have.

Hope you all have a fabulous Friday! Go out & do something fun or stay home & veg, whatever you do, have fun. If you want to join in on the Fill In The Blank Friday fun go on over to The Little Things We Do, copy the blanks, answer them on your blog & link up here.

  2. Great answers! Don't feel bad about procrastinating on shopping. I am not finished yet and I hope to go this weekend. The thing is, I have to wait for my next paycheck. Yikes!
