Vintage Celebrity Saturday

I had never really heard of this actress/comedian up until a a year or two ago. She had been around but wasn't as big a name as she is now. It's sort of like she came out of nowhere & now she's everywhere...

  • Born May 18, 1970 in Upper Darby, PA
  • Real name is Elizabeth
  • Came out of Chicago's famed Second City comedy troupe, where she was a writer-performer.
  • Attended the University of Virginia, graduating in 1992.
  • Her husband, Jeff Richmond is a Second City director. That's how they met. He is ten years older than she is.
  • Recorded the voices for the British and German princesses for Williams' "Medieval Madness" pinball machine.
  • Close friends with Amy Poehler.
  • Is a big fan of Star Wars movies and often uses references to the movies in her roles and writing.
  • Revealed in an interview that she did not lose her virginity until she was 24 years old. She also revealed that she was a virgin when she met her husband, and that he is the only man she has ever been intimate with.
  • Returned to work one month after giving birth to her daughter Alice. Is semi-fluent in German. She says about herself that she speaks "less than first-grade" German.
  • She is "Saturday Night Live" (1975)'s first-ever female head writer.
She still looks pretty much the same, only now she's sporting a sleeker hair style & has done herself a favor and taken some tweezers to those overgrown eyebrows. Know who she is?

  2. LOL Did you know Tina is self-conscious about the scar on her left cheek? I think she is a hot woman and shouldn't be overly concerned with that. That scar was not her fault. A stranger slashed her face when she was a child.
