Fill In The Blank Friday

It's Friday...but not just any Friday, it's Black Friday. The one day of the year when you're supposed to get the deals that beat all deals. But me...I'm at home. I've been here all day & its sucks. I hate not having any spending money. I actually hid the last two checks I had in wallet because I was totally tempted to go shopping & write a check, even though I don't have the money in the bank. Yes, I'm aware that's a against the law...sheesh, that's why I didn't do it.

So because it's Friday & I'm at home bored I bring you Fill In The Blank Friday! I know, excited aren't-cha?

1. Black Friday is the one day I should be at every store going spending crazy without thinking about about what bills need to be paid in a week. But the truth is bills are due & I'm at home on black friday *sad face*.

2. Christmas shopping this year will include me buying gifts at the last minute, like always. I have about 14-17 gifts to buy & so far I have 1. I'll definitely be that chick running around Target in her pj's at midnight on Christmas Eve lol. I'm so lame.

3. Holiday shopping makes me feel extremely stressed out. I can handle about an hour in store but more than that & I start sweating & getting annoyed...that's when it's time to head to the check out counter.

4. This year my Christmas list will include a new pair of Charlotte Russe jeans, black Chucks & a netbook. In all probability I'll get the jeans & converse but the netbook is pushing it *shrug*, a girl's gotta try.

5. Bargain shopper, or full price shopper? Bargain all the way! Don't know if you've caught on but I'm broke lol. There are very few things that I'll buy at full price. Yes, I'm cheap & I'm OK with that.

6. The best and worst things about shopping is I'd have to say the best thing is shopping by myself. I love it, it's really relaxing to go on my own without anyone following me & the pressure of having to find what I'm there for. The worst thing I'd say is the crowds. There's nothing I hate more than an overcrowded store with rude pushy people.

7. Online shopper or in-person shopper? I'm an in-person shopper all the way. I'd rather see the item & know that it is in perfect shape than have to wait for it to arrive to make sure it's in good condition. I think it'd be more of hassle to have to return something I bought online than drive to the store. I'm lazy like that.

  1. oooh i bought black chucks when i was in Vegas a few weeks ago... tip: if you have little feet like me, kid sizes are mad cheap! :)

since you don't think you'll get that netbook on your Xmas list, maybe ask for gift cards to the same gadget store? it'll knock down the price for you!

i'm all about in-person shopping too! i HAVE TO check every area of the item to make sure it's in perfect condition... but i'm too detailed-oriented that i find at least a little problem with everything.

thanks for stopping by my blog. please come by again! www.gimmemaur.blogspot.com

    i'll be visiting again! :)

  2. Oh, I'm sorry you're at home.
    I'm broke too.
The only thing we have bought with the money we received for our wedding is a computer... And only because my laptop is dying.
The rest of the money is for bills and the mortgage. Too sad.
So far I've bought only one Christmas present too. Maybe next week I'll go shopping... Although I have no spending money right now. Sigh.
Hate dealing with a tight budget and being broke, don't you?

Oh, btw, hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  3. I already finished my shopping. I do it little by little over the last half of the year so I don't have to spend all the money at once. Makes me feel stressed and crappy too.

    Lots of yummy love,
Alex aka Ma What’s For Dinner

  4. Don't get a Dell netbook-just trust me on this :)

I love comments!
