KT Tunstall: Tiger Suit Album Review {I Dug It}

I love music and I'm not picky when it comes to it either. I don't have a particular "type" of music that I dig more than an another. If you were to take a ride with me in my car you'd find that my radio is programed with easy listening, rock, Spanish, oldies, rap, R&B, country, blue's, rock n' roll...everything.

So when I was given the opportunity to review the just released album, Tiger Suit, by KT Tunstall I was really excited.

Since I'm to give you my honest opinion on this CD I gotta say that I wasn't diggin' it at the beginning. The first 6 songs were good, don't get me wrong, but it just seemed like they were something you'd hear in a Starbucks. But, what I can say is this girl has a voice on her...a really kick ass voice. It's sort of hoarse with a bit of sexy to it.

It wasn't until I got past song 6 (Lost) that I started getting into it & then by song 7 (Golden Frames) I didn't want to turn if off. I have to admit that song 8 (Come On, Get It) got me dancing in my seat & song 10 (Madame Trudeaux) got me feeling like a bad ass who should have been on the back of Harley.

All in all I'd have to say I loved 90% of the songs on this album. In my opinion Tiger Suit contained songs that had a rock, indie, pop and alternative rock feel to them. I had never heard of KT Tunstall until now and was really surprised to find that Tiger Suit is her 3rd album. She's a Grammy nominated, multi-platinum, Scottish-born singer and songwriter who in my opinion is as good as they come & doesn't sound fake like some of the other singers out there. I'm definitely a new fan!
