September Is Full Of New Seasons

September is one of the best months ever!
Why?

Well, if you honestly don't know then I can only imagine you've been dwelling under a rock all summer long or you'd already know that it's because all of the best shows are coming back this month. And, oh boy do I love me some great tv shows!

Here are the shows I'm looking forward to most this month...

Dexter: Season 5 will premiere on SHO, 9/26 @9pm (pst)

I'm totally excited to see how they set up the show now that the Rita's dead. Will Dexter keep Cody & Astor? Will Julia Stiles new character be Dexter's new love interest? I cant wait!

Sons of Anarchy: Season 3 premiers on FX, 9/7 @10pm (pst)

Last season left us on a huge cliffhanger...Jax' son was taken, Gemma took off with Chief Unser & is on the run from the FBI & wtf happened to Half-sack? I cant wait to see all the mayhem these motorcycle men are going to get into.

************************************************

Bored to Death: Season 2 premieres on HBO, 9/26 @10pm (pst)

Truthfully I'm only watching this show because of Zach Galifianakis & Ted Danson. Zach is hilarious as the awkward friend & Ted Danson is just awesome as the boss who's always smoking out lol.

Boardwalk Empire: Series premiere is on HBO, 9/19 @9pm (pst)

I saw the preview to this show after watching True Blood & was immediately intrigued. With all of the corruption, murder, sex & lies the preview had I'm positive it's gong to be one of my faves.

Castle: Season 3 premieres on ABC, 9/20 @10pm (pst)

I have the biggest crush on Nathan Fillion, I love his character & how witty he is. Last season ended w/Beckett about to tell Castle how she felt about him but didn't cause his ex-wife showed up. I'm hoping they'll get together this season *fingers crossed*.

Law & Order SVU: Season 12 premieres on NBC, 9/22 @9pm (pst)

This show never ever gets old & the stories are always great! This season will be hottie Christopher Meloni's last season *sob* but the good news is that the premiere episode will be 2hrs long :)

************************************************

Grey's Anatomy: Season 7 premieres on ABC, 9/23 @9pm (pst)

Holy crap was the season finale intense...I cant wait to see what they have in store for us this season. Rumors are: Derek steps down from being Chief, Dr Webber becomes Chief again, Teddy finds new love w/a trauma counselor, and someones getting married. Who will it be?

Private Practice: Season 4 premieres on ABC, 9/23 @10pm (pst)
.
I totally didn't see Dell's death coming...that came out of nowhere but since he wasn't doing much for the show it was whatever. I liked that Addison finally went to Sam, Cooper & Charlotte got engaged & I really really hope Pete & Violet stay together. Rumor is there's a wedding in store for us this season. I'm sorta hoping it's Cooper & Charlotte.

CSI NY: Season 7 premieres on CBS, 9/24 @9pm (pst)

Because I love this show so much I can be the first to admit that it's gotten a wee-bit cheesy, ha ha. The season finale w/Shane Casey going after Danny & all, wowza. The season ended with Shane holding Danny's baby girl & prepared to kill Danny, then all we hear is a gunshot as the scene fades to black. Did he kill Danny? I doubt it but I'll still tune in.

Desperate Housewives: Season 7 premieres on ABC, 9/26 @9pm (pst)

Sheer determination is why I'm still watching this show. I've tuned in from the very beginning & I will finish it! Last season was pretty lame. Especially with Katherine becoming a lezzy & all (not that I mind, I love the lezzy's). At the end of the season they just sort of forgot about her & focused on Susan moving & Lynette being held hostage while giving birth to yet another baby. The only interesting bit about this new season is that it appears one of the Wisteria Lane ladies is raising a son that's not hers. Turns out a nurse switched babies at birth..oh & that creepy dude Paul is back & renting Susan's house.

Brothers & Sisters: Season 5 premieres on ABC 9/26 @10pm (pst)

The season finale left me in tears! I balled like a baby at finding out Saul is HIV positive & that Robert died in the car accident (your hotness will be missed Rob Lowe!). We were left not knowing whether Holly died or not, although I doubt she did & sadly it was announced a few months ago that Emily VanCamp who plays Rebbecca will be leaving the show & only appears in about 2 episodes. Also, they went ahead & wrote Ryan (the 1/2 brother) out of the show cause he sucked. Ha ha j/k, no I'm not.

****

Told'ja it was a great month. I don't think Rusty's going to like it very much but I'm going to be glued to that TV from now on, ha ha.
.
And I don't normally like to ask questions in a post because I feel like a dork who's talking to herself but hell I'll give it a shot & risk looking like a dumb a*s...
"what shows are you excited about this season?"

  1. Dexter, Grey's, Private Practice, Castle...hello! Love them all. I created a spreadsheet for all my TV shows so I can make so to get them all.

Other shows I am excited about: Glee, Big Bang Theory, Bones, Medium, and Modern Family. I am also tempted to check out Mike & Molly.

I love fall for so many reasons, but a big one is new TV!

  5. I know what you mean, and Desperate Housewives just started last night, but I think we are a season behind, so when realising I skipped through that part:)

  6. I love Dexter! And I can hardly believe that Desperate Housewives is on Season 7 this year! A couple of other shows that I'm looking forward to in the upcoming weeks are Parenthood and Glee.

  7. Sons of Anarchy starts today! I live in Canada and we don't get FX so I have to wait until tomorrow and look for the episode somewhere online. I hear Season 3 is going to be more intense than the other two.
