Interesting, Yet Useless Facts...#3


Everyone needs a little useless info taking up space in the brain every once in a while so I'm here to help!




  1. Rubber bands last longer in when refrigerated.

  2. There are 293 ways to make change for a dollar.


  3. A shark is the only fish that can blink with both eyes.


  4. All of the clocks in the movie "Pulp Fiction" are stuck on 4:20 (ha ha...pot head much?)


  5. All 50 states are listed across the top of the Lincoln Memorial on the back of the $5 bill.


  6. Los Angeles's full name is "El Pueblo de Nuestara Senora la Reina de Los Angeles de Porciuncula" and can be abbreviated to 3.63% of it's size: L.A.


  7. Tigers have stripped skin, not just stripped fur.


  8. The microwave was invented after a researcher walked by a radar tube & a chocolate bar melted in his pocket.


  9. John Lennon's first girlfriend was named Thelma Pickles.


  10. "Stewardesses" is the longest word that is typed with only the left hand.


  11. The average person falls asleep in 7 minutes.


  12. No word in the English language rhymes with month, orange, silver or purple.

Ok...you only get 12 this time because I wouldn't want to overload your brain on sheer awesomeness, ha ha.

Today's almost over & tomorrow's Thursday which, thank goodness, only gets us closer to the much beloved & needed weekend...woot!

  1. Wow, I was only aware of two of those facts before! And you've made me feel like a horrible zoologist (yes, that is my actual college degree) because I honestly didn't know elephants can't jump. I thought they could at least kind of skip or something...yay college!

  3. lol! I never really thought about that with elephants. I think I figured they couldn't due to their size, but its nice to have facts like that floating around in my head. Who knows when I'll need it! ;)
