Fill In The Blanks Friday

This week just seemed to fly by...thank goodness!

I had originally planned on having a date night with Rusty tonight & thought maybe we'd go see Sex In The City 2 (yes, I'm totally dragging him to see that with me). But I realized that the darn movie doesn't come out in theaters until next week. Sucks!

So, now I have nothing planned for tonight but hopefully we'll find something to do so we're not bored out of our minds at home. Lately it's seemed like I see less & less of the hubs. I think it's my job (or tv...or blogging...) that's getting in the way. I'm definitely gonna have to make some 'us' time before he takes my computer & tv away, lol.

Ok...it's time for

1. One fashion trend I really regret is the Clueless movie outfit trend (click here to see what I'm talking about). OMG, I sported around those damn knee highs, plaid skirts & platform shoes for months, haha. I still LOVE that movie but I cant believe I used to wear that stuff. I think I'll just blame it on being a teenager & wanting to live in Beverly Hills.

2. The one thing that always completes any outfit is accessories. A great pair of earrings &/or necklace can make any drab outfit look fab. I've never been much into wearing jewelry but lately I've been eyeballing a lot of fun looking accessories.

3. I would describe my personal style as relaxed/laid back. Unless I'm attending a wedding or something you wont find me wearing high heels or a dress. I'm definitely a jeans & Converse gal all the way. To be honest the only time I'm in slacks is when I'm at work & that's just because they pay me, lol. Sometimes I'll dress up my jeans with some cute flats & a blouse but that's as dressy as I get.

4. My fashion muse is um...I don't think I have one cause I'm not all that into fashion. But I totally dig Jessica Beil's style. I really like how she's low key, not a fashionista at all, but totally sexes it up when she has to.

5. If I could own one designer piece of clothing it would be well it wouldn't be clothes, it would be shoes...a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes. I'm sure all of you gals know which shoes in particular I'm thinking about too. They're none other than the shoes Carrie wore to her city hall wedding when she married Big in Sex & the City. Love them!

6. I would love to raid the wardrobe of ...I'm drawing a total blank. Maybe Jessica Beil or Sandra Bullock cause they're cool.

7. Today I am wearing dark blue jeans, a black sleeveless blouse with a 3/4 sleeve cranberry colored cardigan over it, black flats that have a cute little silver buckle on them & silver hoop earrings. Simple & comfy yet date night ready, haha.

  5. Yeah, the whole Clueless thing was totally a regretable trend. I'm not sure why we thought those thigh high/knee socks were so cool. Hahaha!
