Vintage Celebrity Saturday

I know, I know, I've had the same celeb up for the past two weeks. I'm sorry! It just goes to show that I'm not a multitasker when it comes to posting reviews, giveaways & celebrity posts.

However, I am back so no need to freak out...here's this weeks' awesome celeb:

  1. Born March 19, 1955 in Idar-Oberstein, Germany but was raised in New Jersey.
  2. Waited tables & tended a bar before he was an actor. Was actually discovered by a casting director while working. He hired him to be a bartender in a movie.
  3. Was married to his first wife from 1987 - 2000. Was recently married to a small screen actress who's 23 years his junior.
  4. Is best known for having a shaved head. (And, damn he makes bald look good!)
  5. Has 3 daughters with his first wife.
  6. According to friends, he had a terrible stammer as a child.
  7. Younger brother Robert died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 42.
  8. Recommended Michael Clarke Duncan to play the part of John Coffey in The Green Mile (1999).
  9. Plays the harmonica.
  10. He was the only celebrity that attended Julia Roberts' wedding to Daniel Moder.
  11. Co-starred with Samuel L. Jackson in 4 films: "Die Hard With a Vengeance" (1995), "National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1" (1993), "Pulp Fiction" (1994), "Unbreakable" (2000).
Do you know who this dude is? If you do, Hooray!
If not, then you'll be happy to know that this is
Bruce Willis

  1. Ha! I knew this was Bruce Willis RIGHT away. That nose/lip combo gives him away every time. Plus, he used to be my favorite actor so I knew his birthday. Ha ha.

  6. So this is pretty terrible, but when I first saw the pic I was like, "Oh! I know!" but I couldn't quite place it. And then I was like, "It totally looks like Demi Moore's daughter, but she isn't very vintage." And then is dawned on me that it was probably her father. Which is really unfortunate. What girl wants to look like her father especially when that father is Bruce Willis who is in no way "pretty."

  7. When you said bald head, I finally figured it out. I would not have known without the clues though. Very cool post!

Thanks for stopping by on my special SITS day.
