Vintage Celebrity Saturday

I had a great date day with the hubs at the shooting range & I'm in the writing mood so I'm extra happy to write tonight's post.

So without further ado, here's this weeks Vintage Celebrity:

She still looks somewhat the same and her smile might be a dead giveaway...
  1. Born October 28, 1967 in Smyrna, GA.
  2. Wanted to be a Veterinarian & studied Journalism. It wasnt until her brother achieved some success in Hollywood that she decided to give acting a try.
  3. Has been married to a cameramen since 2002 & before that was married to a singer for one year.
  4. Played the clarinet in her high school band.
  5. She once tried out for a part in All My Children but did not get the part.
  6. Splits her down time between her ranch in Taos, New Mexico and a home in New York City.
  7. Bruce Willis was the only celebrity that attended her wedding to her current husband.
  8. Longtime good friends with actor Denzel Washington and actress Susan Sarandon.
  9. Is an accomplished equestrienne.
  10. Turned down leading role in Sleepless in Seattle (1993) which went to Meg Ryan.
  11. One of her favorite hobbies is knitting.
  12. Had her big break when she stared in a movie with Richard Gere and only got the part after the first two choices, Molly Ringwald and Meg Ryan, both turned it down.
I think #12 might have given it away but if you're still unsure...it's

Julia Roberts
