Vintage Celebrity Saturday

I hope you're all having a fabulous Saturday because mine was great! Rusty & I went out to the movies & watched one of the greatest movies we've both seen in a long time. Actually, the star of the movie we watched today is today's celebrity (I have a total crush on him).

Let's see if you can guess who it is...

  • Was born November 11, 1976 in Los Angeles, CA.
  • His parents divorced a year after he was born.
  • Is of German decent.
  • His parents met while attending college together.
  • Attended John Marshall High School in Los Angeles.
  • At age 10, his agent advised him to change his name to a more American- friendly Lenny Williams.
  • Childhood friends with Tobey Maguire and the late Christopher Pettiet.
  • He is an environmental conservationist and often advocates and supports natural causes.
  • Robert De Niro and Jack Nicholson are his favorite actors.
  • He can speak a little German.
  • Very good friends with actress Kate Winslet and Vincent Gallo.
  • Refers to his German grandmother as "Oma".
  • Quentin Tarantino considered casting Leo as SS Colonel Hans Landa in Inglourious Basterds (2009), but he eventually chose Christoph Waltz to play the role instead.
Any idea who this little cutie might be?

Well here's a clue for you, we saw Shutter Island at the movies today.

Yup, it's Leonardo DiCaprio.
If you're into the psychological-mind bending-thriller type movies I really really really suggest you see Shutter Island. I bought the book 2 weeks ago & am about to start reading it (Rusty says it's even better than the movie cause it goes into a lot more detail)...I cant wait!

  1. What a cutie! I couldn't guess this one, though!

I'm pretty sure I'm way too freaking chicken to watch that movie lol!

  2. I must say.. I think I have found my new {coffee} (if i drank coffee so we will replace that with tea) drinking - blog. how grand. shall i follow? I think so.

  3. I totally guessed it!! I really want to see Shutter Island. I didn't know it was a book, but I'm definitely checking it out too :)

I love comments!
