Favorite Movie Tuesday

This weeks' favorite movie pick is one that I would have never watched if it weren't for Rusty (thank you Rusty!):

Minority Report premiered in 2002 & stars Tom Cruise, Colin Farrell, Max von Sydow, & Neal McDonough. I'm not a huge fan of Tom Cruise so when Rusty mentioned renting this movie I was like 'Um...I think I'll pass'. Needless to say he didn't listen to me & forced me to watch it against my will. And, like so many many times before, I ended up really liking the darn movie.

It had everything from suspense to action to tears coming from eyeballs...it was good. I tend to hold the Scientologist thing against Tom Cruise & I think I might have to stop because my judgemental ways are making me miss a lot of great movies. Rusty watched Valkyrie without me (I was totally protesting it) & he loved it, who woulda' thought?

Anyway, this movie's pretty kick ass & I recommend you watch it if you ever feel like staying in & watching a movie instead of going out & spending $. IMDB describes the plot by saying:

In the future, criminals are caught before they commit the crime. But when Chief Anderton, head of the the special unit, is accused of one such crime he sets out to prove his innocence.

  1. OH man - such a good movie to watch in an Ethics class! This is one of my favorites (in addition to Vanilla Sky, which was made about the same time and deals with an ethical issue related to technology, too!).

Too bad Mr. Cruise has a habit of jumping on couches and making an @$$ of himself.

I love comments!
