Favorite Movie Tuesday

Tuesday's almost over & I almost totally flaked on this post...so without further ado...
This weeks favorite movie is:

I love love love this movie so much! I used to have Hocus Pocus on VHS (ha ha...what's that?) & it just dawned on my that I no longer have it...OH NO! I'm definitely going to buy this movie before Halloween. It was sort of a tradition to watch it on Halloween. It's perfect because it's not too scary so you can keep it on while you pass out candy without making the kiddos outside your door cry if they happen to catch a glimpse, lol.

I remember watching it for the first time & wanting to be Sarah Sanderson because she was the 'sexy' witch with the nice voice, ha ha. One of my favorite parts is when Winnie (Bette Midler), Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker) & Mary Sanderson (Kathy Najimy) make their way to the Devils house, aka: Master (Gary Marshall) & they think he's really 'the devil'. Ha ha...and then his wife (Penny Marshall) comes downstairs & kicks them out of the house. Oh, & when they first come back to life & they're exiting the cottage & are scared to step on the black asphalt because they don't know if it's safe to walk on so Winnie & Mary throw Sarah onto it. I laugh every time!

I had never really noticed but this is a Disney movie...huh, who knew they were so cool?

  1. OMG. OMG. OMG.

I have a total Hocus Pocus craving now. That is one of my all time FAVORITE movies!!

I wanted to be the 'pretty' witch too and thought she had the most beautiful voice evvver when she was singing that "Come little children" song. Hehehehehe.

I had forgotten all about the whole Master part (I have a movie amnesia problem) but I remember it being funny.

    MUST. FIND. ON. DEMAND. NOW.
