Don't Be Jealous Of My Day...

I let my mom borrow my car today so I'm stuck at home until she gives it bac
k. So far it hasn't been too bad being at home. It's my day off so I would have been here anyway but I think it just sucks cause I don't have the option of going to the store if I wanted to.

So to keep myself somewhat busy this is what I've done all day:
  • Woke up at 10:30
  • Took the trash cans out to the curb cause it's trash day.
  • Read a ton of blogs
  • Watched Maury (omg...what do you mean he wasn't the father!?!)
  • Ordered pizza cause Rusty needed his soda fix & the only way to get a soda delivered was to get a pizza with it...(yeah, not that we wanted pizza or anything, pfft)
  • Watched Sunshine Cleaning (one of the best movies I've seen in a very long time)
  • Ate the awesome Skittles (Crazy Cores) that Amanda sent to me (Rusty found a new favorite candy).
Most of this may or may not have been done while laying in bed. Don't judge, it doesn't count as laying around being a bum if you've taken a shower, which I have :)

I'm almost positive the rest of my day will be filled with even more television, movies, and junk food even after I get my car back. I'm broke & there's really no where to shop or hang out here in Perris. I don't know if I'll be able to handle this city much more. Our lease is for a year & we were hoping to find somewhere permanent here but now I'm not so sure. As expensive as O.C. is, I miss all the malls, shopping centers & bookstores. Oh man, I really miss the bookstores. Rusty & I are total book junkies & there's only 1 Barnes & Noble near us & it's like 25 minutes away, sucks.

Ok, Rusty's having separation issues cause I've been on here so l
ong so I better go send some time with him.

  3. I am honestly a bit jealous. I'm glad you liked the Skittles. My favorites are the red and orange. I have a bit thank you to you as well. The Sour Patch Kids are Eliza's fav and have definitely been helping with the potty training.

As for the bookstores... one word... library. I love our library and best part... they are all free!

I hope your weekend is even BETTER!

  5. LOL! You're funny. I'm glad you're only renting. I thought you bought there (from an old post). At least you know now what it's like there and can make a better decision later.

  6. Oh I'd love a day like that!
I know what you mean about feeling cut off though....I hope you manage to change that someday. :0)

  7. Maury is must see TV here lately. Every woman is 1000% sure that the guy is the dad...maybe if she lessened her estimate to 100%, it would work out the way she wanted?
