Deals For Your Wallet

While surfing the net earlier today I came across several deals at stores & restaurants that I thought I'd share. I'm not usually a budget kind of gal but times have been tough so lately I've tried to take it easy on splurging at stores & restaurants.

Rusty's been bugging about getting a new PC (even though he has a brand new laptop) for his gaming & I've had to inform him that we have NO money what. so. ever. right now. I think I've said this maybe like 6 times now & he still keeps bringing it up like he's gonna wear me down or something (I'm afraid it might actually work soon). The last time I gave him the no money excuse he looked me in the eye & said 'well we'd HAVE the money if you wouldn't be speeding through red lights, miss law breaker'....ouch that one hurt. Cause it's true :(

Anyway, here are the cool deals for your wallet for those of you who are looking for a bargain:

The Gap is having a Buy 1 Pair of Jeans & Get the 2nd Pair for $10.

It's actually a pretty good deal if you stick to buying your child the $19 jeans & not the $45 ones. This offer is good online through 9/3/09 & in stores through 9/7/09 for Gap Kids & Baby Gap jeans.

Old Navy is having a bunch of sales right now, everything from 2 for $5 flip flops (my favorite) to $9 Polo Shirts for boys.

Bath & Body Works is having a sale on their Signiture Collection: Buy 3 get 2 Free (every time they have these sorts of sales I love to stock up on my Sweet Pea lotion & body wash, I love it!).

B&BW also has their 4oz candles on sale, buy 2 for $10. Its a great idea to start buying some of these candles & lotions as Christmas gifts, it's never too early.

Marie Callender's is letting kids eat FREE on Tuesdays & Saturdays (1 free child for every paid adult entree). I love this place & their awesome Pies!

Oh, that reminds me, their Pie of the Month for August is my absolute favorite pie...Double Lemon Cream Pie. It's amazing...sweet & tarty! Stop by your local restaurant to pick one up for only $6.99 (plus price of tin). I'm buying one after work tomorrow & I'm almost positive it'll be gone by the time I get home...so not kidding.

  1. Ahh, Marie! How I miss ya! Too bad it's not a national chain.

I'd have to resort to the freezer section to gobble up one of the yummy pies.

    It's just not the same.

  2. My husband just got a ticket in the mail for running a red light --- he was caught by one of those video cameras! He insists he has no memory of doing it, and I believe him - he got it in a place he was driving and had gotten lost, so I think it was an accident! ;) Anyways, you're not the only one! :)

  3. i love all the back to school deals. they are awesome!

I love comments!
