Favorite Movie Tuesday

This weeks movie pick is one that hits pretty close to home for me. It's one of my ALL-TIME favorite movies. I can watch it any day of the week & never get tired of it.

Every time I watch this movie it reminds me of Rusty & I (we even got married in Las Vegas). I don't know if I ever mentioned it but Rusty & I met over the internet. After about a month of talking to eachother we decided to meet & truthfully I thought for sure it was going to be a one night stand kind of thing....never would I have imagined I would end up marrying him, haha (this story will be edited in the future for my future children, as I don't want them running off to meet some guy /girl they just met on the internet).
What's weird is that he & I are SO alike & yet from very different backgrounds (he's low pro caucasian & I'm a fiesty hispanic). I dont think I could have married anyone better though (especially cause he puts up with all my mood swings & bad temper).

Anyway...I love Fools Rush In because it's a love story & a comedy about two people who under all circumstances should not really be together because they're so different but end up working it out because they love eachother. If you haven't seen it you should, it's great!

Synopsis:
After meeting in a bathroom line in a local restaurant, Alex (Matthew Perry) and Isabel (Salma Hayek) find an instant connection and sleep together. Three months after their Las Vegas one night stand, Isabel finds Alex and tells him that she is pregnant. Alex and Isabel decide to get married because she is pregnant with their child. Problems soon arise as they meet each others families, deal with work colleagues, and most importantly, get to know each other.
The major crisis in the movie is the couple learning to adapt to the culture of their new partner. Isabel is from a Catholic Latino family, while Alex has a straight-laced WASP family.
